- On the Wyatt, each size up adds $40 to $80.
- On the Aahana, 1.2 m to 1.6 m goes up $80 a step, then 1.8 m adds $240.
- On the much larger Jade, the steps are $180 to $661.
- On the Laraine, super single adds $30 over single, then queen and king add $100 each.

What does customisation add to the price?
A custom piece costs the price of the nearest standard design, plus a customisation charge that depends on the additional materials and how complex the work is. Wihardja quotes each custom piece individually, so the quickest way to a price is to send us a photo or sketch with the size you need.
Any custom size is possible, and you can also change a design’s drawer configuration or colour finish. Wihardja’s teak comes in five shades: 5N (the lightest), 0N (Lite), 2N, 3N and 4N (almost black). Custom pieces typically take 60 to 90 days, and up to 120 days depending on the time of year. Extra costs to budget for
- GST: already included in all displayed prices. Wihardja is GST-registered.
- Delivery: White Glove delivery, with the fee shown on each product page. On 26 October 2026, for example, sideboards showed $60 to $120 and bunk and loft beds $90 to $160. See our FAQ for delivery details.
- Stair carry: $20 per item per floor if your furniture can’t go in the lift.
- Assembly: most furniture is delivered fully assembled. Bed frames and dining tables are not.
- Old furniture: HDB residents can call their town council for free removal. Condo and landed homeowners can ask us for two disposal contacts.
- Johor: we deliver to Johor too. WhatsApp us for the cross-border transport cost.
Teak vs suar: which costs more?

Why factory-direct furniture costs less
Wihardja is both the manufacturer and the exporter: our furniture is made in our own factory in Indonesia and sold in Singapore without a middleman. We’ve done this since 2001. Is it cheaper to buy furniture in JB?
Sometimes the sticker price is lower in Johor Bahru, but the comparison should include Singapore GST on goods brought in above your relief, transport across the Causeway, and how after-sales service would work. Why is teak furniture expensive?
Teak is a dense tropical hardwood with a naturally high oil content, which makes it highly resistant to insects and rot. Wihardja’s teak comes from government-run plantations in Java and is kiln-dried to minimise cracking and warping. Making furniture in our own factory and selling it without a middleman helps keep the price down.
Do your prices include GST and delivery?
Wihardja is GST-registered, and all displayed prices are in Singapore dollars and include GST. Delivery isn’t included: each product page shows its White Glove delivery fee, for example $60 to $120 for sideboards. If your furniture can’t go in the lift, stair carry costs $20 per item per floor.
